Pure Power, Pure Style, Pure VTX.
It’s not easy categorizing a motorcycle as classically cool and feature-packed as the VTX1300R, so we like to go with “performance-retro”. Take a closer look and we think you’ll agree. Check out the burly 1312cc V-twin engine and staggered dual exhaust complete with mandatory throaty growl. Now shift your gaze to the deeply valanced fenders, chrome-hooded headlight, tank-mounted instruments, pullback handlebar, and floorboards with an old-school heel-toe shifter. All that, and Honda’s incomparable fit, finish, and overall quality. This is one great bike!

INNOVATIONS
Beauty is Much More Than Skin Deep
The performance cruiser class is full of good-looking, chrome-covered machines. We should know, since we build the most stunning cruisers out there. The true beauty of these motorcycles, however, lies in what’s inside, and that’s where the VTX1300 really shines as a V-twin showcase for Honda innovation. The list is impressive, topped by such features as three-valve, dual-plug combustion chambers, near-maintenance-free shaft drive and cast wheels. But you want to know what’s even more remarkable? The durability, reliability, and superior fit and finish that are a part of every Honda.

1312cc Liquid-Cooled 52° V-twin Engine
Powerplant delivers strong low-end and mid-range torque, while single-pin crankshaft design accentuates the V-twin’s brawny character.
Mounting system uses specially matched hangers to eliminate unwanted vibration while preserving the powerful pulse unique to a V-twin.
Excellent Stopping Power
In the front, the disc brake features a big brawny 336 mm stainless-steel rotor. With a twin-piston caliper for great performance. In the back, there’s a 296mm stainless-steel rotor with a single-piston caliper.
Retro Custom Styling
Deeply valanced fenders, chrome-hooded headlight, wide fuel tank with tank-mounted instruments, semi-swept bars, and floorboards with heel-toe shifter create singular retro style. Low (27-inch), firmly padded seat enhances rider comfort while maintaining classic, low-slung profile.
