With XM NavWeather™ service, another of the 2009 Gold Wing’s latest features, you’d not only already know about these conditions—you’d have been prompted on how to divert your route as well. Thanks to XM NavWeather’s Threat Matrix™ technology, the Gold Wing’s Nav system can track nationwide weather information for more than 20 different weather conditions. This data is then scaled and customized to a rider’s specific location and route using color weather icons and/or warning signals displayed on the Nav screen.

1832CC Six-Cylinder Engine
Fuel-injected, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine is exceptionally smooth and incredibly powerful. Gearbox spins opposite the crank’s rotation for smooth counterbalance effect with the crankshaft’s torque.

Pro-Arm Rear Swingarm
MotoGP-inspired single-sided cast-aluminum swingarm is super-rigid and lightweight, with reduced unsprung weight, delivering sharper, sportier handling. Unique Pro-Arm design combines with Honda’s patented Pro-Link® rear suspension, which features electronically adjustable hydraulic preload settings for various riding and load conditions.

Airbag
Industry’s first (and only) production motorcycle airbag system available exclusively on the Gold Wing. Gold Wing’s fork incorporates four sensors for the earliest possible detection of a frontal impact.

Tire-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
Disc Monitors both front and rear tire pressure once per minute. Alerts rider if tire pressure falls below minimum recommendations.
